Osteosynthesis

The area of surgical osteosynthesis abounds with the most diverse metal products of prosthetic nature, apparatuses, and mechanisms. The structure of majority of them is rather specific, largely individualized for a certain patient, which previously may be reproduced only in a specialized prosthetic workshop.

The engineering and manufacturing capabilities of our ABM Technology Medical Product Plant as to the fabrication of metal parts, components, and mechanisms applicable in different areas of surgery are rather wider than in any specialized prosthetic workshop.

1. We make any medical product with the highest accuracy and technologically faultlessly.

2. We work with any medical grade metals and materials applicable in medical products for the osteosynthesis, that is stainless steel, titanium, tantalum, cobalt-chromium alloys, nickel, silver, plexiglass, etc.

3. We can make practically any implant, prosthetic component, fixing, supporting or reposition mechanism applicable in the osteosynthesis surgery. Our manufacturing have mastered production of the following special instruments of prosthetic nature for the osteosynthesis:

 

• рvarious extramedullary fixation implants – Lane’s plates, Hick’s plates, shaped plates, plates with the end screw, with a slot for bone coaptation, hooks-plates, apparatuses for stitching up the tubular bone fragments, and Hertzman coaptation clamps;

• intramedullary fixation implants - Küntscher nails, Dubrov’s nails, nails of the Central Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of N.N. Priorov;

• perosseous fixation implants – different screws and nut bolts;

•  sets of compression apparatuses – the Sivash apparatus, Gudushauri’s apparatus, Ilizarov apparatus, Grishin’s apparatus and the Ashkenazi’s apparatus;

•  alloplastic bone implants, including the Moore, Judet, and Sivash ones of femoral head;

Not only the capabilities of individual manufacturing, but all advantages of high-volume and series manufacturing provide an opportunity to make typified medical products much cheapercalculated per unit of production are at the disposal of our Consumers (Customers).
