Manufacturing of Helix Implants at the ABM Technology

Helix line is outputted exclusively of titanium Grade 4. It is generally thought to be the best material for the manufacturing of dental implants. There are some reasons for this:

• this type of titanium does not contain toxic vanadium as distinguished from other “pure” titanium alloys;

• it is distinguished by high biocompatibilitypromoting good osseointegration;

• it has high strength characteristics thus ensuring the security of structure 

There is a deep thread being cut on Helix implant making it possible to retain its securely and reduce load on the bone. It is also possible to reduce axial load on the bone in the process of implantation thanks to the shape of anti-rotation groove of the implant. 

22-degree orthopedically conical platform guaranties secure attachment of the implant to the abutment. There is no probability for penetration of bacteria into the slits with such connection, and hence, the probability of reimplantation is many-fold decreased. 

The surface of Helix implant is bioinert being characterized by micro- andmacroporosity ensuring better survival in the bone.

The implant sizes required in the majority of clinical cases are included in the assortment of dental implants of Helix line. All implants have exactly the same conical shape in the linear row from the collar to the length of 6 mm (in view of a definite diameter). This ensures equal strength of all Helix implants and stability of the indicators. The cross-section of all implants to diameter in the linear row is equally secure and equal in strength, which has been proved by special test in German laboratory.
